Partnership across the street

Since years our partner NTG (located across the street) successfully sells our products as an integral part of their IBF and (R)-IBE machines around the world. We, on the other hand, use NTG`s extensive manufacturing capabilities and experience to produce all critical parts for our products. Because of the nature of this cooperation, we are closely networked and share our resources and knowledge accordingly.

In our building we have over 800m² for offices, a training and demo centre, storage, electrical and mechanical assembly and our large test facility including a highly sophisticated measurement lab with an overall temperature stability of ±0,05K.

For more than 30 years Mr. Franz (CEO from NTG) has pushed the development of IBF (ION BEAM FIGURING) processes and created a very successful market leading family of IBF machines. Today NTG is a well-known player in this market in EUROPE as well as in ASIA and the USA.     

There are three key competencies plus an extensive in-depth process knowledge necessary: 

2017 NTG took up the challenge to design and manufacture their own high precision and dynamic motion systems. In order to achieve this goal, Mr. Franz teamed up with Mr. Besold (CEO of PriMEngineering). With more than three decades experience in the world of high precision motion control (working for NTG`s former motion supplier), Besold and the Engineers from NTG developed, designed and manufactured comprehensive and innovative new lines of motion axes and systems.

TODAY, these motion systems are successfully installed in many of NTG`s machines sold around the Globe. NTG now controls development, design and production of all three key components of their IBF-machines. The new motion systems enhanced the dynamic system characteristics and overall precision and therefore increased the performance of the machines.

2020 Franz and Besold founded NTGmotion GmbH & Co. KG to make those innovative new motion components and systems available for OEM`s, INTEGRATORS and ENDUSERS in a wide range of markets.
